Pastor Terry Giles
My pastoral journey begins with my call to ministry at 9 years old. God ordained that I be educated in church schools, from elementary years to the seminary, in preparation for this amazing privilege. Currently, I hold a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) in Pastoral Administration/ Counseling from Andrews Theological Seminary, Berrien Springs, Michigan.
For several years, God has guided me successfully through a variety of pastoral and marketplace ministries. Providentially, each task prepared me for the one to follow. Upon the conclusion of a two-year pastoral assignment in Bronx, N.Y., several Christian friends, brothers and sisters expressed a desire to establish a new ministry. After much deliberation and prayer, a board of trustees was appointed and Fellowship of Praise Seventh-day Adventist Worship Center was established March 8, 2015.
God has given me a wonderful partner to lead this flock-First Lady Cheryl Merritt -Giles. We are humbled to be the Visionaries of this ministry. Together, under God’s keeping power, we pledge to devote our leadership gifts and talents to the nurturing and developing of God’s people. We have been blessed by the support of our families and friends as we assume this divine assignment.
